How this website works, how to ask about your information and what the practice’s approved notice needs to cover.
YOUR INFORMATION.
The practice-specific privacy notice is awaiting approval. This prepared page is not a completed legal notice.
Starting a conversation
This HSD site provides links to Instagram, SMS and telephone contact. It does not submit an enquiry form or take payments. Opening an external service means its own terms and privacy information also apply. Ask the team for the appropriate route before sending sensitive clinical information.
Website delivery
Netlify hosts these pages. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Campaign images are delivered through Netlify and existing media hosts; films and London posters use Higgsfield media hosts. Those services receive technical connection information when delivering content. Saved cookie choices remain in your browser.
Who is responsible

For privacy questions, email privacy@harleystreetdentists.co.uk or write to Privacy enquiries, Harley Street Dentists, 66 Harley Street, London W1G 7HD. Care, records and communications
The practice uses contact details and messages to respond to requests and arrange care. Patient care can involve medical and dental history, clinical notes, photographs, scans, treatment plans and consent records. Appointment, payment, complaint and privacy-request records support care and administration. Information normally comes from you, or from a referring clinician or authorised representative where appropriate.
Why information is used
The prepared practice policy distinguishes steps requested before a contract and providing agreed services; legal obligations; legitimate interests in administration and security; and separate consent where required for optional marketing. Necessary healthcare processing involving health information is handled under the healthcare condition by staff bound by confidentiality and working under a responsible dental professional. Treatment consent is a separate clinical process.
Who may receive information
Relevant information may be available to the practice team, clinicians, authorised service providers, laboratories, referral providers, professional advisers or authorities where appropriate and lawful. External contact services have their own privacy terms. The practice must finish checking the provider inventory, processing locations and any international-transfer safeguards before approving this notice.
How long information is kept
Records are kept for their purpose and applicable legal and professional requirements. The detailed retention schedule remains subject to practice approval. Website preferences expire after 183 days or can be cleared earlier. Contact the privacy address to ask about a specific record; this page does not promise an automated deletion process.
Your rights and questions
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or object to relevant processing. You can object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw consent where it is the basis used. Some rights have exceptions, including required clinical-record retention. Contact the privacy address; proportionate identity checks may be needed. You can also complain directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office. The practice will date and update the approved notice when processing changes. Continued website use is not consent.
